1 June 2025 – ChargeNet is proud to support AVIS Magic as an official supplier for the 2025 ANZ Premiership season.
As New Zealand’s nationwide EV charging network, ChargeNet operates over 510 fast charging points across more than 268 public sites. This partnership complements Magic’s EV player vehicle fleet provided by Farmer Autovillage, helping make sustainable travel more accessible for the team throughout the season. Farmer Autovillage (Mt Maunganui) is also home to one of the seven ChargeNet sites in the Tauranga area, further strengthening the partnership and making it even easier for the team to stay on the move throughout the season.
For more than a decade, ChargeNet has focused on building a reliable, accessible charging network to support New Zealand’s transition to electric transport. With strong national coverage—including across the Waikato and Bay of Plenty—our network ensures Magic players and staff can travel to games and events with confidence.
“We’re proud to support AVIS Magic, a team that shares our focus on innovation and community,” says ChargeNet Partnership Lead, Caitlin Kropach. “It’s great to see elite athletes embracing EVs as part of a smarter, more sustainable future.”
With both organisations aligned on innovation and sustainability, AVIS Magic Operations Manager, Janette Douglas says the partnership is a strong fit for the team.
“We’re pleased to welcome ChargeNet into the Magic whānau,” says Douglas. “Their nationwide coverage, especially in our region, gives our team the flexibility and confidence to travel sustainably. This is another important step in our commitment to supporting innovation and sustainability in sport.”
